Our monthly goal in attendance is 96% or higher! We know attendance plays a big part in academic success so please help us reach our goal! Thank you for entrusting us with your children.
Leland Street School welcomes your involvement and support. There are many opportunities for parents and community members to be involved at Leland Street School. Together we can raise the level of achievement and excitement at Leland Street School.
The Leland community welcomes and encourages you to become actively involved in supporting the Leland Street School vision. Here are a few ways that you can increase your involvement with Leland Street School.
English Learner Advisory Council (ELAC):
Open to parents of English Language Learners. Monthly meetings.
School Site Council (SSC):
Open to all parents. Monthly meetings.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Open to all parents. PTO goals are to encourage interaction between family and school, serve as a source of support, and work with teachers, staff, and the community at large to improve our children's educational experience. The PTO works closely with the school administration to meet this goal.
Morning Safety Valet Volunteers: Once we get back to In-Person school
We are in desperate need parents who are willing to help us with our morning safety valet between 7:40 and 8:00 am. Your gift of 20 minutes to the school one or two days a week will make a huge difference in the quality of our school and the safety of our students. If you are here in the morning to drop off your child and can spare a few extra minutes we would be grateful. If you are interested in joining the morning safety valet group please contact the office.
